Who we are
Canary Design & Remodel and The Perch Design Studio (together, “Canary,” “we,” or “us”) provide design, remodeling, and product-selection services in the Greater Cincinnati area. This policy covers our website and online inquiries. For privacy questions or requests, please use our contact page.
Information we collect
When you voluntarily contact us, request a consultation, or submit a form, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, project details, preferred services, and messages. We may also receive information you choose to provide during a consultation. Our website and service providers may automatically process technical information such as IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, referring website, and interactions with our site.
How we use information
We use information to respond to inquiries, schedule and deliver services, communicate about projects, maintain and secure the website, understand site performance, and improve our offerings. Where permitted and subject to applicable consent requirements, we may use advertising technologies to measure campaigns and show relevant advertising. We do not promise to identify anonymous visitors by name merely because they browse the website.
Cookies and advertising
Our website may use necessary technologies for basic operation and, if you accept advertising cookies, Meta Pixel to record page visits and help measure or personalize advertising on Meta platforms. Meta may process information under its own policies. You can decline advertising cookies without losing access to the website. You can revisit your choice using the Cookie Settings control below. Browser controls and ad blockers may also affect cookies. We do not currently claim to have Google Analytics or Google Ads tracking enabled unless those services are separately implemented.
When information is shared
We may share information with providers who support website hosting, communications, scheduling, customer management, analytics, and advertising, only as relevant to their services. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect rights and security, or in connection with a business transaction. We do not sell customer contact lists. Certain advertising disclosures or sharing may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under some privacy laws; eligible visitors may request applicable opt-outs using our contact page or by declining advertising cookies.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for inquiries, business relationships, recordkeeping, and legal obligations, then delete or de-identify it when appropriate. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, or to object to certain uses, subject to applicable law and verification. You may also withdraw consent for future advertising-cookie use through Cookie Settings. Withdrawing consent does not automatically erase information already processed by third-party providers; contact us if you want to make a related privacy request. Depending on where you live, additional rights may apply. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
Children
This website is intended for adults seeking home-design and remodeling services, not children under 13. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided information, please contact us.
External websites
Our brand directory links to independent manufacturers and suppliers. Their websites have separate privacy practices, and this policy does not govern those sites.
Changes
We may update this policy as our website, technology, or legal requirements change. The updated effective date will appear here.
